What ministries or small groups do you offer?
Our ministries feature five areas, Care, Connect, Grow, Serve and Worship.
Care Ministries are focused on providing emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals facing various life challenges.
Connect Ministries serve and support the needs of the wider community beyond our congregation.
Grow Ministries feature our Lighthouse groups which is an umbrella term for our small groups including Bible studies, support groups, and other types of small groups.
Serve Ministries are vital to the heath and growth of our church. They offer meaningful ways for every member to use their gifts.
Worship Ministries exist to lead the congregation and our guests in meaningful, spirit-led worship that glorifies God and fosters a deep connection with Him.
How do I join a small group or Bible study?
No matter where you are on your journey, we invite you to join us as we grow in God’s word, share his love, and live with hope in Christ. You do not have to be a member of Light of the Valley to attend our small group studies.
Do you offer youth programs?
Yes, we do offer a variety of youth activities and we feel that they offer a spiritual foundation for children. They help children learn about God, the Bible, and faith in a way that is age-appropriate and engaging.
We feel that youth programs lay a foundation for a lifelong relationship with Christ. And we believe that Parents are the primary spiritual teachers, and our church supports and equips families by reinforcing values and faith practices. Our youth learn, worship, and make friends with peers, creating a sense of belonging in the church family.
What missions or outreach programs do you support?
Our vision is to create multiple venues where people can discover and experience the good news of Jesus, communities of help and healing, of doing live together, embracing the call of Jesus in our lives and serving the community.
Is Childcare available during services?
We have a parents’ lounge adjacent to the sanctuary where parents may take their little ones.
How can I volunteer or serve?
Just Ask! We feel the continual need for volunteers. Through volunteering, individuals often find a path to greater spiritual fulfillment and new dimensions of faith and purpose. Our church thrives on the generosity and commitment of its volunteers, who bring the love of Christ into ministries both within the church walls and beyond. In this way, church volunteering becomes a reciprocal act of grace — a way for individuals to live out their faith and for the church to continue its mission of service, love, and unity.
How do I become a member?
We offer a Discovery class every month where you will discover what we’re about and what it means to be a part of our LOV family. A discovery class is the best first step in getting involved at Light of the Valley. This two-hour class includes lunch and gives you the opportunity to ask questions about the church and receive a deeper understanding of the mission God has for us in this community and His world.

Your generosity helps us share God’s love and support our ministry. Online giving is simple, secure and convenient- you can make a one-time gift or set up recurring donations. “Every gift makes an impact-helping us serve our neighbors, support missions, and grow together in faith.”
